Each year, the contest is chaired by a convinced personality who carries the values of organic agriculture. They are the true spokespersons of the Challenge Millésime Bio contest and its medallists.
For this 2021 edition, Andrew Jefford, a wine world-renowned journalist, will do us the honor of being the president. Writer specialized in wine, his writings have been read in many British newspapers, including the Evening Standard, The Times, The Guardian and the leading international monthly Decanter. A six-time winner of the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers' Awards, Andrew Jefford is also the author of several books, most of which are devoted to wine and spirits.
Alongside him, a jury of professional tasters from all areas of the wine industry (oenologists, sommeliers, wine merchants, technicians, journalists, etc.) is selected each year to reward the best wines presented for tasting.
As a reminder, in 2019, the jury composed of 382 members and chaired by Philippe Faure Brac, the world's best sommelier in 1992 and president of the Union de la Sommellerie Française, awarded 484 wines out of the 1,611 tasted. In 2020, the double starred chef Jean Luc Rabanel and 420 tasters awarded 479 wines out of the 1612 presented.
