Testimonials

Santa Lucia site

Rosa BENEDETTI, Tenuta Santa Lucia di Paridi Benedetti (Italy Emilia-Romagna) :

“ Our experience at the Millésime BIO trade fair has always been fruitful and enriching. Participating in the Challenge Millésime BIO competition has, year after year, led us to meet new importers from all over the world, particularly Europe and America. The visibility that our company has gained over the years is undoubtedly due to the presence of some of our wines at the BarChallenge Millésime BIO.

Karine

Karine Valentin, President of the 2023 Contest :

“Yes, it’s very important to present your bottles at the contest. As a visitor, I don’t always have much time, so I always head straight to the area showcasing the medal winners. It helps me go right to the point: I select my wines there, and then I visit the stands.”

Laurent

Laurent HABRARD – Domaine Laurent Habrard (France, Rhône Valley) :

“ For me, the BAR CHALLENGE is a particularly effective showcase. It allows buyers to save a great deal of time during the tasting and discovery part of their visit. Afterwards, they come to meet the selected winemakers in person. This discovery table also serves as a qualitative selection of the many wines presented throughout the fair.”

Capuccina

Sisto TESSARI - La Cappuccina (Italy, Verona) :

“ We had a pleasure to meet some importers after the tasting at Bar Challenge. It's an excellent opportunity to select importers who are truly interested in quality wines. In fact, they're intrigued by the tastings at the Bar Challenge/Enoteca and then come to our stand.”

Fabian

Fabian ZAEHRINGE - Weingut Zaehringe (Germany, Baden) :

“ Within the last 10 years, we were happy to win five gold medals for our Chardonnay Altenberg. This has helped us a lot in promoting sales and building a strong reputation. We also received more attention at the fair by being able to display the medals at our stand.”

Vengore

Lucrezia POVERO - Cascina Vengore (Italy, Asti) :

“ We had a few visitors come to our stand after tasting our wine at the Challenge Bar. It’s also prestigious for my clients to see our wines featured there. I will submit some wines to the Challenge again.”

Charles Perez

Charles PEREZ - Mas Becha (France, Les Aspres) :

“ The open tasting of award-winning wines at the bar is a unique opportunity for buyers to focus on the qualities and profiles of the products they need, in a minimum amount of time. For me, that’s essential: after this step, they’re already focused on how the wine fits into their range, which allows us to move more directly into commercial negotiations.”

Etienne caraguilhes copie

Etienne BESANCENOT - Château de Caraguilhes (France, Corbières) :

“ Challenge Millésime BIO remains the most important competition for us in terms of commercial impact. Receiving a medal here offers excellent visibility during the fair, and thanks to that, we’ve met new partners. It’s always a great satisfaction to be awarded at this competition.”
